Fenugreek

Fenugreek minimizes symptoms of menopause, relieves constipation, controls diabetes, reduces cholesterol, soothes sore throat pain and coughs, eases minor indigestion, relieves diarrhea, increases breast size and milk production in nursing mothers.

From ancient times through the late 19th century, fenugreek played a major role in herbal healing. Then it fell by the wayside. Now things are once again looking up for the herb whose taste is a combination of celery and maple syrup. Modern scientific research has found that fenugreek can help reduce cholesterol levels, control diabetes and minimize the symptoms of menopause.

In India, the herb was incorporated into curry blends. India's traditional Ayurvedic physicians prescribed it to nursing mothers to increase their milk. In American folk medicine, fenugreek was considered a potent menstruation promoter. It became a key ingredient in Lydia E. Pinkham's Vegetable Compound -- one of 19th-century America's most popular patent medicines for "female weakness" (menstrual discomforts).

Today, fenugreek is most widely used in the United States as a source of imitation maple flavor. But this may change, as its medicinal value becomes better known. Another potential area for fenugreek is cutting into the plastic surgery business. For centuries rumors have floated out of the Middle East that harem women were fed fenugreek seed to make them more buxom. This turns out to be more than mere hearsay which is why we use Fenugreek in our Majestic Herbal Breast Enhancement formula.

The seeds, in addition to being female steroid precursors, also contain compounds that increase healthy breast tissue. Since the seeds contain diosgenin and other plant phyto-estrogens Fenugreek provides a mastogenic effect resulting in breast enhancement. Several studies have shown that fenugreek reduces cholesterol in laboratory animals, and Indian researchers have shown the same effect in people with high cholesterol levels.

"There's no question that fenugreek reduces cholesterol," says Daniel B. Mowrey, Ph.D., director of the American Phytotherapy Research Laboratory in Salt Lake City, Utah, and author of The Scientific Validation of Herbal Medicine. Fenugreek also "has great promise in alleviating Type II (non- insulin-dependent) diabetes," says Dr. Duke, and according to one study, it may also help people with Type I (insulin-dependent) diabetes. Saw Palmetto

Saw palmetto is now a popular and effective treatment for prostate enlargement in men but has its origins in natural medicine as a breast enhancement herb and is still recommended today by naturopathic physicians for increasing breast size. It is also used as an aphrodisiac, for the treatment of impotence in men, and for inhibited sexual desire in women.

Saw palmetto has been used for centuries. Native Americans, dating back to pre-Mayan civilizations, used the berries for food and medicine and particularly for breast disorders in women. Early American botanists noted that animals fed with these berries grew sleek and robust, experienced restored sexual vigor and improved muscle tone. Saw palmetto is also useful as a nutritive tonic, supporting the function of a healthy appetite and smooth digestion. Saw palmetto berry also tones the urethra, and it may be used to uphold the healthy function of the thyroid gland and urinary system.

This remarkable herb has no side effects or drug interactions. Its herbal breast enhancement effects stem from phyto-nutrients that stimulate breast tissue, increasing health and size. To call saw palmetto a "man's herb" is a disservice to its healthy benefits for both sexes.

Mexican Wild Yam

Wild Yam is probably the most widely used herbal tonic for women's health. It is widely used in breast enhancement and as a sexual stimulant and is recommended by herbalist Susan Weed author of "Breast Cancer? Breast Health!" for healthy breast tissue.

Wild Yam has long been used for its benefits in women's reproductive health, including premenstrual syndrome and menopausal problems. It can be taken in capsules or in tea (though there are mixed opinions on the flavor). The powder can be added to creams or vaginal ointments, and can be added to your lotion for breast massage. The phyto-nutrients in wild yam are a good compliment to the nutrients in fenugreek and together make for the effective and healthy herbal breast enhancement.

Fennel

Fennel has been used for centuries in breast enhancement and to promote milk production in new mothers. The herb's history is similar to the story of fenugreek above. It is second only to Fenugreek in estrogenic compounds. Fennel is also used to treat amenorrhea (lack of period), angina, asthma, heartburn, high blood pressure and to increase sexual desire in women. It is rich in the phyto-nutrients that increase breast size and is a great addition to the program.

Dong Quai

Dong Quai is also known as Chinese Angelica and is primarily known for its uses in treating women's problems including lack of sexual desire, the symptoms of menopause, cramps and PMS. It increases the effects of hormones in both men and women and is widely used as an aphrodisiac. Dong-quai is particularly useful in ending hot flashes and menstrual cramps. It is also used as a liver tonic and in treating sciatica and shingles.

Dong-quai has earned a reputation as the "ultimate herb" for women. It is widely used among Chinese women as a fortifying daily tonic, much as Chinese men rely on ginseng. Women in other parts of the world have also discovered this 5,000 year old tradition that naturally provides balancing and normalizing support for women's unique rhythms, cycles and body systems. Do not use if you are pregnant or taking a blood thinning agent.

Damiana

Damiana is well known in southwestern cultures as a sexuality tonic, and is recommended by many top herbalists. It stimulates the intestinal tract and brings oxygen to the genital area. It also increases energy levels, which does a lot to restore libido and desire. In women, Damiana often restores the ability to achieve orgasm. Long-term use can improve sexual fitness and performance. Damiana is used primarily as an energy tonic and an aphrodisiac for both men and women.

Blessed Thistle

Blessed Thistle helps strengthen the heart & lungs and increases circulation. Blessed Thistle gained a reputation as a cure-all, and was even believed to have fought off the plague. The plant is praised for its medicinal powers in Shakespeare's "Much Ado About Nothing" and was recommended in early herbal treatises as a remedy for migraine and other headaches. Blessed Thistle is now considered genuinely useful for digestive problems. It works by stimulating the production of saliva and digestive juices. The plant originated in southern Europe, but is now cultivated throughout the continent.

L-Tyrosine

L-Tyrosine is a direct precursor to Thyroxine, a primary thyroid hormone, as well as Adrenaline and Nor-adrenaline. Thyroxine has been found to increase metabolic rate and control growth rate. L-Tyrosine is a necessary amino acid in the production of neurotransmitters including epinephrine, norepinephrine, and dopamine. L-Tyrosine also appears to have a mild stimulatory effect on the central nervous system.

Patients with a Thyroxine deficiency have symptoms including excess weight gain, cold hands and feet, and decreased basal metabolism. L-Tyrosine has been found to assist in optimizing thyroid hormone levels, increased mood, concentration, and productivity.

L-Tyrosine is used to treat conditions including depression or mood disorder, poor coping ability, fatigue, low sex drive, low metabolism, and drug abuse (when combined with Tryptophan). It can also improve endurance under stress and is effective as an appetite suppressant. When taken properly, L-Tyrosine can assist a sluggish thyroid and aid the dieter in losing excess, unwanted pounds.

Kelp powder

Kelp Powder is an aid to skin, hair and over all health (Kelp, Alfalfa Base). Kelp powder is an excellent source of vitamins and minerals, especially B-vitamins and trace minerals.

Kelp is a type of seaweed that is used as a rich source of iodine, magnesium, potassium, iron and vitamin A, B and C. It promotes healthy and boosts the immune system. Kelp also improves digestion. Kelp is a wonderful addition to the ingredients of Majestic Herbal Breast Enhancement and contains virtually all the essential trace elements. As a daily supplement, kelp helps prevent mineral deficiencies.

Hops flower

Hops (Humulus lupulus) is a perennial native British plant with a stout root. It has heart-shaped leaves and cone-like flowers. Romans ate the young shoots in the spring in the same way we do asparagus. Hops were first used by breweries in the Netherlands in the early fourteenth century. Hops have been used traditionally for nervous disorders.
